Where do you find these things?!! I remember all of them. When my wife was pregnant with our first, she CRAVED the K-Mart sub! Many a night I would find myself racing over there before they closed to quiet her needs.
K-Mart subs were the best..... I used to work at ayr-way..... I love your site - fun times.
My first job was at Ayr-way -- right when it was changing over to Target. Loved those mint green "smockjacks" we had to wear.
We had some makeshift fitting rooms set up, and one of our customers didn't trust them, so she wanted to know if she could take clothing over to the gas station across the street to try them on. "Um, no," we said in reply and told her that she could BUY them and take them anywhere and try them on and if they didn't fit she could return them. Oh, the stories I could tell about my adventures in retail!
Those subs were NEVER tasty.
I miss Burger Chef
ayr-way - wow. My mom's favorite store! :-D
i remember that you could use your ls ayers charge card at air way. when it turned into target there where tons of unhappy people that couldnt use that charge there.
